"When I first contacted Jo, I was feeling quite desperate and my Gastroenterologist couldn't treat the cause of my Gastritis because I didn't have an acute issue such as an ulcer or cancer. He just gave me PPI medicine which relieved my symptoms initially but made me feel worse after a while. He didn't try and find out why or how my symptoms were persisting! So Jo helped me understand why my gastritis kept on reoccurring. She was really easy to get along with and she certainly knows her stuff! Having been a regular at Jo’s bootcamps pre covid, it was natural that when I started work, I would change to personal training sessions with her. I’m sure she despaired of how much time I spent talking and my continued failure to master a proper burpee, but I so valued her friendship and advice and understanding. We laughed a lot. Jo would always have so many random questions, like how I’m sleeping and how my poo is and whether I get enough selenium or B vitamins or eat enough sea vegetables, because she genuinely cares about your health and wellbeing. Around that time I also tore my Achilles and was in a boot for 5 months, not running for almost a year. I really struggled with being so inactive but Jo devised ways to work out without putting weight on my leg, and I genuinely believe she saved my sanity by doing that. "I was struggling with a number of health issues such as Hashimotos, pre-diabetes, and aching joints and limbs, when I first contacted Jo. I was feeling constantly tired and not in control of my life and my health. Jo was very patient with me and listened carefully, taking a full history of my medical concerns. We took a full set of blood tests to investigate my thyroid levels, hormones, blood sugar, magnesium, and other minerals. She immediately prescribed some supplements that made me feel a lot better and put me in touch with a doctor who could adjust my thyroid medication, which was definitely low.Jo certainly knows her stuff and knows how to tweak things to get optimal results. I feel in a much better place than I was 6 months ago and I know what to do to make myself feel even better. I would definitely recommend Jo if you are having any health concerns."

"I first attended Jo’s boot camps as I was struggling to motivate myself to get fit. After 4 children and years of stagnating in my exercise, Jo’s classes were a breath of fresh air. The classes were a perfect balance of fun but firm- enough so to keep me coming back 2-3 times a week.
When I badly injured my foot playing netball, Jo made the necessary adjustments so that I was able to remain attending class throughout my recovery.
Since then, Jo has been inspirational in changing my diet for good. This was not something I had actively considered previously, but Jo’s encouraging nature meant it was an easy and natural progression from the exercise classes. She has the near encyclopedic knowledge to put you on the right path, but is realistic and practical in her approach. The recipes, advice and programs imparted to me by Jo remain in use to this day.

Jo’s Bootcamp sessions have become an integral part of my weekly routine where I find myself planning life to fit around her sessions. It’s 45 minutes of cardio & strength training where no two sessions are the same. Jo’s Bootcamp has a lovely group of women who support and encourage each other, whilst Jo puts us through our paces.
