How to make Bone Broth
•½ -1 kg bones from pastured animals (chicken feet, carcass/necks or beef bones knuckles are best)
•4 cloves organic garlic
•5 liters filtered water
•Sea salt and pepper to taste
•2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
•2 carrots, 2 celery sticks, 1 onion & herbs
•(optional) Ginger, Star anise, cinnamon & chili
Put all ingredients in a slow cooker overnight or longer and set to a low temperature (8-24 hours). In the morning, strain broth and refrigerate in separate glass containers.
This is great as a base for soups and sauces and is great for gut healing
